The Quran Abi Camar manuscript dates back to the early days of Islam, with its origins attributed to the Companion of the Prophet Muhammad, Abu al-Qasim al-Zayd ibn Thabit al-Ansari, popularly known as Zayd ibn Thabit. However, another important figure, Umar ibn al-Khattab (also known as Umar I), played a crucial role in the compilation of the Quran. His scribe, Abi Camar (or Abu Ammaar), was instrumental in recording the revelations.
